The Challenge

Traditional social media apps rely heavily on touch and manual input, making content creation and sharing cumbersome, especially for users on the go or those who need accessibility-friendly solutions. The challenge was to design a seamless, voice-first experience that allows users to capture and share moments effortlessly—without touching their device.

What we did

We built Vocl, a fully voice-controlled social media app that enables users to take photos, record videos, and create notes—all through voice commands. The app integrates speech recognition technology to process natural language commands, making the experience intuitive and responsive. Users can also share their posts directly to platforms like Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, all through voice prompts.

To ensure a smooth user experience, we optimized real-time processing for voice commands, implemented background AI for contextual accuracy, and designed a minimal yet engaging interface that complements hands-free interactions. Accessibility and ease of use were key priorities, making Vocl an innovative solution for content creators, busy professionals, and users looking for a touch-free way to engage with social media.
