Privacy Policy for Momnt IPTV

Effective date: 30 July 2026
Last updated: 30 July 2026

Momnt (“Momnt”, “we”, “us” or “our”) operates the Momnt IPTV mobile application (the “App”) and the website momnt.studio.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Momnt IPTV.

Momnt IPTV is a media player and content-management application. It allows users to access media services supplied by independent third-party providers using credentials obtained separately from those providers.

Momnt does not provide, host, sell, license, distribute or otherwise supply television channels, films, programmes, playlists, subscriptions or any other media content.

By using Momnt IPTV, you acknowledge that any provider, playlist, credentials or content used within the App has been obtained independently from a third party.

1. Privacy summary

Momnt IPTV has been designed to minimise the information handled by Momnt.

  • You do not need to create a Momnt account.
  • You do not need to provide your name, email address or telephone number to use the App.
  • IPTV provider credentials are stored locally on your device.
  • Momnt does not operate a server that receives or stores your IPTV provider credentials.
  • Provider credentials are transmitted directly from your device to the provider you choose so that the App can access that provider’s service.
  • Momnt does not receive or control the content delivered by your provider.
  • The App may use third-party analytics, crash-reporting and advertising services.
  • Tracking or personalised advertising is only used where permitted by applicable law and platform settings.
  • Where you decline tracking permission, the App does not access your device’s advertising identifier for cross-app tracking.

2. Information you provide

IPTV provider credentials

To connect Momnt IPTV to a third-party service, you may enter information such as:

  • A provider server address or portal URL
  • A username
  • A password
  • A provider code
  • Playlist information
  • Other connection details supplied by your provider

These credentials and connection details are stored locally on your device using the storage and security facilities available through your operating system.

Momnt does not receive, centrally store or maintain a copy of your provider username or password.

When you connect to a provider, the App must transmit the relevant connection information directly from your device to that provider. This is necessary to authenticate your connection and retrieve the provider’s data and content.

That transmission is between you and your chosen provider. Momnt does not control the provider’s systems, security, privacy practices or use of your information.

You should review the privacy policy and terms of service of your provider before connecting it to the App.

Information stored locally

Depending on the features you use, Momnt IPTV may store information locally on your device, including:

  • Added providers and playlists
  • Provider connection settings
  • Favourite channels or programmes
  • Viewing progress
  • Recently viewed items
  • EPG or programme-guide information
  • Downloaded content
  • App preferences
  • Parental-control settings
  • Interface and playback settings

This information is used to operate the App and provide its features.

Local information may be removed by deleting the relevant provider, clearing applicable data within the App, or uninstalling the App. Information included in an operating-system backup may remain until that backup is deleted or expires under the operating-system provider’s retention practices.

3. Information Momnt does not intentionally collect

Momnt does not require or intentionally collect the following information as part of the App’s core functionality:

  • Your name
  • Your postal address
  • Your telephone number
  • Your personal email address
  • Your IPTV provider password on Momnt-operated servers
  • Payment-card details
  • Government identification
  • Contacts
  • Photos
  • Health information
  • Precise location
  • The contents of your personal communications

Momnt does not sell IPTV credentials or viewing information.

4. Provider communications and viewing activity

When you use the App, your device communicates directly with your selected IPTV provider or playlist host.

Your provider may therefore receive information such as:

  • Your IP address
  • Your connection time
  • Your device or client information
  • Your account or subscription credentials
  • The channels, programmes or media streams you request
  • Playback and usage activity
  • Diagnostic or security information

Momnt does not determine how a provider collects, processes, retains or shares this information.

The provider is independently responsible for its service and privacy practices. Questions or requests relating to information held by your provider must be directed to that provider.

5. Analytics and app diagnostics

Momnt IPTV may use analytics and diagnostic services to understand how the App performs and to improve its stability, reliability and usability.

Depending on the App version, device settings and permissions, these services may process limited technical information such as:

  • App version
  • Operating-system version
  • Device model or general device characteristics
  • Language and region
  • App launches and screen views
  • Feature interactions
  • Playback events
  • Performance measurements
  • Crash reports
  • Error reports
  • Diagnostic identifiers
  • Approximate region derived from an IP address

Analytics events are designed not to include IPTV usernames, passwords, complete provider URLs, playlist URLs or the titles and contents of private provider accounts.

We use analytics and diagnostic information for purposes such as:

  • Identifying crashes and technical faults
  • Measuring App performance
  • Understanding which features are used
  • Improving navigation and usability
  • Preventing abuse and maintaining App security
  • Planning and evaluating App improvements

Where applicable, this processing is based on your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the App, or another lawful basis available under applicable law.

Declining permission for advertising tracking does not necessarily disable all aggregated analytics or essential crash reporting. These services may continue where they do not constitute tracking and are otherwise permitted by law and platform rules.

6. Advertising

Momnt IPTV may display advertisements supplied by third-party advertising partners, which may include Google AdMob or other advertising platforms disclosed through the App or its app-store privacy information.

Advertising partners may process information such as:

  • Advertising identifiers, where permission has been granted
  • IP address
  • General device information
  • App interactions
  • Advertisement impressions
  • Advertisement clicks
  • Approximate location
  • Consent status
  • Fraud-prevention and security signals

Advertising partners may use this information to deliver advertisements, measure advertisement performance, limit repeated advertisements, prevent fraud and, where permitted, personalise advertising.

Tracking permission

On Apple platforms, Momnt IPTV follows Apple’s App Tracking Transparency requirements.

Where tracking permission is required:

  • The App will request permission before accessing the device’s advertising identifier or enabling cross-app tracking.
  • If you deny permission, the App will not access the advertising identifier for tracking.
  • If you grant permission, eligible advertising partners may use the identifier for advertising or measurement in accordance with their policies.

You may change tracking permission through your device’s privacy settings.

Consent for advertising

Where required by applicable law, the App may display a consent or privacy-choice form before requesting advertisements.

Depending on your selections and the options available in your region, you may receive:

  • Personalised advertisements
  • Non-personalised or limited advertisements
  • Advertisements processed using restricted data
  • No advertisements until a valid choice has been obtained

Some technical processing may still be required for non-personalised advertising, including fraud prevention, frequency capping, aggregated reporting and delivery of the advertisement.

You may be able to review or change your advertising privacy choices from the App’s settings or through a privacy-options control presented by the advertising provider.

7. Third-party services

Momnt IPTV may include software development kits or services provided by third parties. These services operate under their own privacy policies and terms.

Depending on the App version, these may include services used for:

  • Advertising
  • Analytics
  • Crash reporting
  • App performance monitoring
  • Consent management
  • App distribution
  • Payment processing for optional App purchases
  • Operating-system functionality

Examples may include Apple services, Google services, Firebase or Google AdMob.

Third-party providers may process information on infrastructure located outside your country. Where required, we take reasonable steps to use providers offering appropriate contractual or legal safeguards.

The current privacy disclosures shown on the App Store or Google Play listing should be read together with this Privacy Policy.

8. Purchases and subscriptions

If Momnt IPTV offers an App purchase or subscription, the transaction is processed by the relevant app-store provider, such as Apple or Google.

Momnt does not directly receive or store your complete payment-card details.

The app-store provider may send us limited transaction information, such as:

  • Purchase status
  • Subscription status
  • Product identifier
  • Transaction identifier
  • Renewal or expiry information
  • Country or storefront
  • Refund status

This information may be used to verify purchases, restore entitlements, prevent fraud and provide purchased features.

Payments are also subject to the privacy policy and terms of the relevant app-store provider.

9. Content and IPTV providers

Momnt IPTV is an independent media player. It does not include a content subscription or access to any television service.

Momnt:

  • Does not provide IPTV services
  • Does not provide channels, films, series or programmes
  • Does not provide playlists
  • Does not sell access credentials
  • Does not operate IPTV servers
  • Does not host or retransmit media streams
  • Does not control third-party programme guides
  • Does not endorse any particular IPTV provider
  • Does not verify the ownership or licensing status of third-party content
  • Is not affiliated with third-party providers merely because their services can be accessed using the App

Users are solely responsible for ensuring that they have the legal right to access, stream, download or otherwise use any content configured within the App.

You must not use Momnt IPTV to access content unlawfully or in breach of copyright, licensing restrictions, contractual terms or other applicable laws.

10. How we use information

Where Momnt or our service providers process information, it may be used to:

  • Provide and maintain the App
  • Save your local settings
  • Enable connections to your selected provider
  • Display advertisements
  • Record and respect privacy choices
  • Diagnose crashes and errors
  • Improve App performance and usability
  • Verify purchases
  • Prevent fraud, abuse and security threats
  • Respond to support requests
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Establish, exercise or defend legal claims

We do not use provider credentials to operate an IPTV service, obtain content on your behalf outside the App, or sell access to third parties.

11. Legal bases for processing

Where the UK GDPR, EU GDPR or similar laws apply, information may be processed under one or more of the following legal bases:

Performance of a contract

Processing may be necessary to provide features or services you request, such as verifying an App purchase or responding to a support request.

Consent

We may rely on your consent for activities such as personalised advertising, advertising identifiers or other non-essential processing where consent is legally required.

You may withdraw your consent at any time through the available App or device settings. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before consent was withdrawn.

Legitimate interests

We may process limited information where reasonably necessary for legitimate interests such as:

  • Maintaining App stability
  • Measuring performance
  • Improving features
  • Preventing fraud
  • Protecting the App and its users
  • Understanding aggregated usage

We consider these interests against your rights and expectations before relying on this basis.

Legal obligations

Information may be processed where necessary to comply with a legal requirement, regulatory request, court order or other binding obligation.

Legal claims

Information may be retained or processed where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights or claims.

12. Data sharing

Momnt does not sell your personal information.

Limited information may be disclosed to:

  • Analytics providers
  • Advertising providers
  • Crash-reporting and performance-monitoring providers
  • Consent-management providers
  • App-store and payment providers
  • Professional advisers
  • Authorities where disclosure is legally required
  • A successor organisation in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring or transfer of the App

Service providers are permitted to process information only for the relevant service, subject to their agreements, applicable law and their own independent obligations.

Your IPTV credentials and provider requests are sent directly to the provider you configure. This direct communication should not be interpreted as Momnt sharing those credentials with the provider; the provider is the intended recipient selected by you.

13. Data retention

Information stored locally remains on your device until:

  • You remove it within the App
  • You clear the App’s data
  • You delete downloaded content
  • You uninstall the App
  • The operating system removes it

Momnt does not maintain a central database of IPTV credentials.

Analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, purchase and diagnostic providers may retain information in accordance with their own retention policies and applicable legal requirements.

Where Momnt directly receives information, such as a support email, we retain it only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Respond to your request
  • Maintain appropriate support records
  • Resolve disputes
  • Prevent abuse
  • Comply with legal obligations

Information may be retained for longer where required by law or necessary for legal claims.

14. International data transfers

Some third-party service providers may process information in countries outside the United Kingdom or European Economic Area.

Those countries may have different data-protection laws.

Where required, international transfers may be protected through mechanisms such as:

  • Adequacy regulations or adequacy decisions
  • The UK International Data Transfer Agreement
  • The UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses
  • EU Standard Contractual Clauses
  • Other legally recognised safeguards

Your IPTV provider may also operate outside your country. Momnt does not control where your provider processes information.

15. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information handled by Momnt IPTV.

These measures may include:

  • Local device storage protections
  • Operating-system security features
  • Secure network connections where supported by the provider
  • Restricted access to support information
  • Data minimisation
  • Avoiding the inclusion of credentials in analytics events
  • Security updates and dependency maintenance

However, no application, device, transmission method or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

The security of provider credentials and media connections also depends on:

  • Your device security
  • Your provider’s systems
  • The connection protocol supported by your provider
  • The network you use
  • Whether the provider supports encrypted connections

You are responsible for keeping your device and provider credentials secure.

16. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and the nature of the information involved, you may have rights including:

  • The right to be informed about processing
  • The right to request access to your personal information
  • The right to correct inaccurate information
  • The right to request deletion
  • The right to restrict processing
  • The right to object to certain processing
  • The right to data portability
  • The right to withdraw consent
  • Rights relating to automated decision-making
  • The right to complain to a data-protection authority

Because Momnt does not maintain user accounts or centrally store IPTV credentials, we may not hold information that can be identified as relating to you.

We may need to request reasonable information to verify your identity before responding to a privacy request. We will not request your IPTV password.

To exercise a privacy right relating to Momnt, contact:

Email: hello@momnt.studio

Requests concerning information held by an IPTV provider, Apple, Google, an advertising provider or another third party must generally be directed to that organisation.

17. Complaints

Please contact us first at hello@momnt.studio if you have concerns about how Momnt handles information.

If you are in the United Kingdom, you may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

If you are located elsewhere, you may have the right to contact your local data-protection or privacy authority.

18. Children’s privacy

Momnt IPTV is not directed at children, and children should not independently use the App to access provider services.

We do not knowingly request personal information from children.

Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising a child’s use of the App, any provider configured within it, and any content available through that provider.

Advertising functionality may be restricted based on age, region, consent status and applicable platform requirements.

If you believe a child has directly provided personal information to Momnt, contact hello@momnt.studio.

19. Sensitive and unlawful content

Momnt does not monitor, select or control the content supplied by third-party providers.

You must not use the App to access, store or distribute content that is:

  • Unlawful
  • Infringing
  • Abusive
  • Exploitative
  • Fraudulent
  • Otherwise prohibited by applicable law

The presence or accessibility of content through a user-configured provider does not mean that Momnt hosts, supplies, approves or endorses that content.

20. External links

The App or website may contain links to third-party websites, support services or provider resources.

Momnt is not responsible for the content, availability, security or privacy practices of external services. You should review the privacy policy of any third-party service you use.

21. Do Not Track and similar signals

Mobile platforms provide privacy controls that may affect advertising identifiers, tracking and personalised advertising.

Momnt respects applicable operating-system permissions and consent choices.

Browser-based “Do Not Track” signals may not apply to all mobile-app functionality. Where legally required and technically supported, recognised privacy preferences will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

22. Automated decision-making

Momnt does not use personal information to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

Advertising providers may use automated systems to select advertisements. Where required, you can limit this processing through consent controls, device privacy settings or the relevant provider’s privacy tools.

23. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect:

  • Changes to the App
  • New or removed features
  • Changes to service providers
  • Changes to legal requirements
  • Changes to advertising or analytics practices
  • Security or operational improvements

The latest version will be published at momnt.studio with an updated effective date.

Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or request renewed consent before materially changing how personal information is processed.
